Amerikick® Teaching Tips Videos
AmeriKick® was founded by Dennis Tosten, who began his martial arts training at age 13. Back then classes were three hours long, and only adults were permitted to train. As a 13 year old, Dennis began his training in Combat Ju-Jitsu. The training involved throwing and learning to fall (on hard wood floors). After he completed his training, he moved on to Kenpo Karate, eventually training with Ed Parker. He continued his training in Kenpo Karate, eventually achieving a ninth degree black belt, while simultaneously working in JKA Shotokan and training and competing with Joe Lewis on the Tracys Karate team. Dennis is currently a Gold instructor in the Joe Lewis Fighting System. At age 18 Dennis purchased the school from his instructor in Northeast Philadelphia, which was then called American Karate Studios.

Today, Amerikick® offers a wide variety of programs from Amerikick Tigers and Dragons to Amerikick Kids and Adults. All Amerikick® programs are age specific and help students, regardless of their ability level, to reach their full potential through the motivational and inspiring classes lead by Amerikick's professional and highly trained teaching staff.
