Lavallee's Life Lessons

Massive Action=>Massive Results 2007

It's been said that a goal is created three times.

First, as a mental picture, when it appears as idea or thought in your mind.

Second, is when you write it down and add greater clarity and dimension; this gives it deeper meaning and allows you to begin to design your action plan.

Third, is when you actually take action toward its achievement.

You become successful the moment you take action toward any worthwhile goal.

The pursuit and achievement of meaningful goals, like becoming an A-Rated Black Belt Champion, will always bring you greater levels of happiness and success in life.

Most goals that are truly worthwhile will require consistent action and energy. This is true in our pursuit of personal and professional excellence.

Once you have decided on your target goals and objectives, it's time to design your Massive Action Plan. (M.A.P.) Then, it's time for action…massive action.

If you truly want to become highly successful, you must work to keep yourself focused daily on your primary goals and continually take massive action.

This is what will allow you to turn your dreams into reality.

Most people get easily distracted or side tracked and then they lose sight of their most important goals. Others fall prey to those dreaded comfort zones or allow FUD's to kill their dreams and desires.

FUD's=>Fear/Uncertainty/Doubt can be a deadly disease to dreams and desires.

USA Black Belt Champions are driven by goals and are very action oriented people.

Get ready to take massive action in the dojo, as well as outside of the dojo.

We've all heard that people with goals succeed much more often than the vast majority of people, simply because they know what they want and where they are headed in life.

Once you've created clarity with your goals and designed your M.A.P.

It's time for Massive Action T-N-T=>Today-Not-Tomorrow!

We have all heard this many times before. As part of our Back-to-Basics for 2007.

We are reviewing our fundamental skills of achievement. Goal setting is certainly a vital aspect and key component of those fundamentals.

No great achievement that you and I ever enjoyed came by chance or accident.

It occurred because we set our sights on the target and pulled the trigger. Pulling that trigger lead us to more actions and even more results. Action leads to more action.

Action creates motivation to do more and want more. However, if you don't take the initial action, you won't ever create the momentum necessary for high levels of achievement, in or out of the dojo.

I sincerely hope you are off to a very action oriented start to your year and that you are keeping yourself focused on your primary goals and objectives.

With only a few days left to the month of January, we are about to sound the bell for the end of round one. Are you winning a unanimous decision so far? Or, is it a close fight?

Let's go for a Knock-Out!

Speaking of Knock-Outs...our Syracuse Team scored a Knock-Out with their Black Belt Spectacular last night at the Performance Arts Civic Center.

It was absolutely the best Martial Arts Demonstration I have ever witnessed, and I have seen many. The Masters Council, USA Sensei Team and the rest of our Black Belt family did a phenomenal job of putting together this Spectacular.

Shihan Jim Andrello set the pace with an outstanding 6th Degree Black Belt performance that was pure intensity and unbelievably skilled.

Next was Sensei Ty Hafner showing extreme versatility, flexibility and performance flair in his skills for 5th Degree Black Belt.

Master Sgarlata and Master Feidt were awesome in their individual performances as well as preparing their teams. Along with all of our Sensei's and their wives up on stage proving once again that the Family that Kicks together...Sticks Together!

What an awesome display of talent and Martial Arts education.

Education - Motivation - Demonstration.

Each of our arts were highlighted and shown in such a dynamic fashion.

Kenpo, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, TKD, XMA, Weapons, MMA and World Class breaking skills.

Everyone of our Sensei's and professional team members performed along with 74 Black Belt graduates in an extremely well choreographed performance.

One of our long time Black Belts and raving fans asked if we hired a professional team to help with our choreographing. I told him "Yes" the USABBC Professional Team!

I had trouble getting to sleep last night because I was so pumped. Even knowing that I had to get up @ 4:30 a.m. to catch a flight. It just keeps getting better and better.

Plus, it was our first time leaving Liverpool High and going to the Civic Center.

2000 tickets SOLD OUT CROWD!!!

That's what we call a Martial Arts Marketing Knockout. Absolutely Awesome.

What a victory for all of us and what a competitive advantage that gives us in the community. One proud Mom was telling me about all the various activities her daughter wanted to be involved in. When asked which one is #1, she and her daughter chose the Martial Arts as the most important and most exciting of all.

That's what I'm talking about. #1 above basketball, dance and gymnastics.

The most important and valuable activity for her child to be involved in. Eee-Sah!!!

Special thanks to all for making this happen. It takes a team to build the dream.

This is one dream I don't ever want to wake up from.

One final thought to share... 27 years ago this month, Vicki Andrello approached me at Mother's restaurant and asked if I was the Karate guy that she had heard was great with kids. I told her that would be me:)

She had recently become a single mother and her son, little Jimmy was a handful.

Understandably so, he had no Father figure because his A-Whole Father walked away and accepted no responsibility whatsoever in raising this awesome kid.

Last night, I got a little emotional telling this story. I'm sure you can see why.

The good news is...that little kid is now an awesome man, Dad, husband and very loyal and disciplined student, Master Instructor, partner and friend. It's been an awesome journey so far and I look forward to many mountains to climb.

I am honored and grateful to be blessed with so many great people and families that continue to bring pure joy to my life.

Shihan Andrello, congratulations on a tremendous victory sir, you deserve the best!

Plan your Work Out– Work Out your Plan!

Let's team up to make it another great week...

Osu,
Kyoshi
