The Team that Won't be Beat...Can't be Beat!
For the well over 30 years, USABBC has been training and developing Black Belt Champions.
Thousands of men, women and children of all ages who have become highly motivated team members and are very dedicated to staying on the Quest to be their Best!
We have always taken great pride in our students and especially in our Elite Black Belt Leaders. Together, we strive to be a powerful and united force for good in our communities.
Besides being extremely dedicated to our Martial Arts, we are also a team of positive, goal oriented people that truly want to help ourselves and others grow and improve through the many values and benefits of Martial Arts training.
The Team that Won’t be Beat – Can’t be Beat!
We have learned many times over that when we team up to achieve a goal or overcome an obstacle, we are far more successful than if we attempt it solo. Focus and determination is multiplied and magnified when it is combined with a team effort.
The journey to becoming a Black Belt Champion teaches everyone the value of teamwork.
No ONE of us will ever be as good or as powerful as ALL of us combined. Everyone benefits and grows when we create an everyone wins attitude amongst a team of high achievers.
There is no greater feeling than being part of a team of people that truly care about each other and are 100% committed to a positive purpose that leads to positive progress and growth for all.
Together Everyone Achieves Miracles!
FYI=>Stuff you may want to know about...
Our Syracuse Team will be hosting our next Black Belt Spectacular on June 2nd.
I will be traveling to Syracuse for a few days prior to put the team through the paces and check on the testing team. Along with driving up to Rochester to check out Sensei Hafners new dojo in Brighton.
Ty is scheduled to start teaching his first Intro Lessons this upcoming week...YES!!!
Sensei Dennis Emond is back from his honeymoon and is expecting to move into his newly remodeled dojo in Palm Beach Gardens within the next two weeks....YES!!!
Training Tip: What you do off the mat will impact you on the mat!
What do I mean by this? Many things. Your lifestyle and habits off the mat can have as
much impact on your progress and results, as your training habits and attitude on the mat.
By lifestyle and habits, I would encourage you to start by looking at your nutrition and your
rest and recharge. Both of these areas can enhance your recovery and energy level.
Another important area is your off the mat thinking and planning. I am a big believer in
keeping a training log to track and measure workouts and results. Taking the time each
week to review your progress and map out your training plan and schedule.
Goals we Set...are Goals we Get!
A goal properly set is halfway met. Keeping your training goals fresh on your brain is a
great way to keep your motivation strong and your excitement at a peak. When you enter
into each workout or training session with a goal mind, is similar to starting your day with
an action plan. You will get achieve more and enjoy better results.
Spectacular performance is always preceded by spectacular preparation.
One thing I always enjoyed about competing was it gave me a goal to shoot for and a
deadline to prepare myself for. When I stopped competing, I needed to set goals for myself
and create new deadlines to keep that competitive edge.
What else can be done off the mat to improve on the mat time?
Study. Whatever you enjoy the most, take the time to study it deeper. I love MMA and
truly enjoy staying in fighting shape. My DVR Recorder is always filled with UFC/Pride/IFL
and whatever else I can find to stay up on the game.
Plus, there is so much great information available on training. DVD's, YouTube and many web sites are filled with materials that can help you sharpen your game.
I have students that are totally into XMA and the same applies for them.
The bottom line is this, if you want to continue to experience positive progress and growth
in your fitness and training, take action everyday to move forward.
With forty years of training under my belt, I am still seeing positive and progressive gains
in my overall fitness and training. What I do, or don't do off the mat, has direct impact to
what I can do on the mat.
Accept no excuses, make no excuses.
Look for reasons why you should train and why you should continue to see gain.
Train Hard...Enjoy the Rewards!

Kyoshi
