CHAMPIONS ARE DISCIPLINED!
Black Belt Champions strive to be their best in every area of life.
To become your absolute best in the dojo, at home, in your personal and professional life... you must develop SELF DISCIPLINE of your Habits, Actions & Attitudes!
Average people wish for things in life, but they lack the discipline to set goals to achieve their desires...
Champions have the discipline to set goals for their future and they develop an action plan to achieve them...
Average people give their minimum and are willing to accept mediocre results...
Champions aim for Excellence and discipline themselves to give their maximum effort to achieve greatness...
Average people tend to procrastinate and make excuses for not getting started...
Champions don't wait... they create... they are disciplined to take the right actions that will make things happen...
Average people are quick to give up and quit, they develop a habit of starting and stopping, never finishing...
Champions are disciplined to persevere and stick to it until they do it... they develop a Non-Quitting Spirit!
The message is simple, anybody can be average, its' easy to live and accept a mediocre lifestyle.
To live life as a BLACK BELT CHAMPION, you must stay eager to give your best and develop Self Discipline in every area of life.
It's one of the basic fundamentals that leads to a better lifestyle.
Discipline weighs ounces...regret weighs tons!
Are you toned and tanned? Are you as fit as you'd like?
Is your summer training staying as strong as it could be and should be?
There are many more options for outdoor training in the summer months than most other times of year. The weather is beautiful and your outdoor cross training can take your fitness level to the next level.
Plus, occasional change up keeps it exciting and gives you a fresher outlook.
Swimming, jogging, walking, biking, volleyball and much much more. This is a great time of year to add a little change up to your training routine. Look at your options and decide which ones spark your interest the most.
Then, all you have to do is get out there and do it. GOYA=>Get Off Your Ass!
Last week I was in Vegas for the Martial Arts Super Show and I was very impressed with the number of well conditioned Martial Arts athletes I saw. Most of them are friends of mine that share my passion and excitement for training. Here are just a few...
Shihan Moti Horenstein, Kyoshi Dave Kovar, John Will, David Meyer, Grand Master Ernie Reyes and many more great Martial Artists that continue to get better and better.
All of the above range in age from 40+ years to Grand Master Reyes, at 60 years young.
Ernie's muscle tone, energy level and overall fitness, would put most 20 year olds to shame.
These are all people I have a deep respect for. Why? Because they keep getting better!
As much as I was impressed with them, I was equally depressed to see the number of people that were fat and out of shape. Unfortunately, some were attending the same Convention.
Others were everyday average Joe's sitting on their fat butts playing slots, smoking cigarettes and drinking themselves into a coma. It always amazes me how many people knowingly and willingly fill their minds and bodies with crap.
It's a choice that we all get to make. We all make choices with the way we invest our time, the foods that we eat, the people we associate with and the information we allow to seep into our brains.
I hope you'll join me in making this your best summer ever...for training, for business, for personal and professional growth. For fun in the sun and strengthening relationships with family, friends and team mates.
Best of Success!
Osu,
Kyoshi
