Prepare to be Great in 2008!
Would you like to see 2008 be your best year ever?
No matter how great these past few years have been, there is a great chance that you would like to see next year be your best ever. I know I certainly do!
The way you finish this year, will have a lot of influence on the way you begin the New Year. What you do right now, in these final days and weeks of 2007, will help you to create inertia and momentum going into 2008.
Have you started drafting your Victory List for 2007?
Have you identified your greatest memories and achievements for the year?
How have you grown and improved this past 12 months?
What would like to achieve in the next 6-12 months?
Do you have a clear picture of what you want to accomplish in your Martial Arts training and with your health and fitness?
What goals would you like to achieve in your personal and professional life?
Law of Dominant Thought teaches that we tend to get what we think about the most.
What do you think about the most? What do you dream of having, being or doing?
The clearer you are in your thinking about your wishes and desires, the greater chance you have of their achievement. Especially if you think it and ink it!
Prepare to be great in 2008 begins by having a clear picture of what great looks like to you.
As you finish your Victory List 2007, the next step is to begin drafting your Wish List 2008.
Most people never take the time to write down what they want. Which is probably why so few people ever achieve greatness in their lives.
Black Belt Champions are not like most people, they are successful achievers.
One of the reasons for this, is they have clarity of what they want. If you take the time now to create clarity of your dreams and desire for the next 6-12 months, you will lay the foundation for personal greatness.
Last night's Warriors Collide Fight Night 3 at the Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial, was a fun evening of Amateur Muay Thai and our team was well represented.
The first fight of the night was Sensei Ian Hewitt winning a unanimous decision in an impressive 3 rounder. From the opening bell, Hewitt was in control of his opponent.
Sensei Hewitt now has a 2-0 fight record and besides being a great Sensei at Team Boca,
he is a phenominal Muay Thai fighter in the ring. Great job Sensei!
The second fight of the night for our team was our only loss. Mike Davis flew down from Syracuse to test his game for his first time in the ring. He suffered a TKO loss to a much larger and seemingly more experienced fighter. Mike is a tough guy and a great student of Master Andrello's. He'll be back!
Fight #3 for our team was from Team NTC. Stefani Walkling made an impressive debut and won a unanimous 3 round victory. She fought like a total pro from the start. If the opponent landed one technique, Stef landed three. It was a great fight and the crowd went wild.
Stefani has been a student of Master KCs since she was 6 years old and we all know that KC's Chix Kick Butt. Stefani certainly proved that last night.
The final fight for our team was also the main event. Trisha Cicero representing Coconut Creek dojo...absolutely kicked butt. Her opponent has been very active in the ring and we willingly accepted a fight with a more experienced and well touted fighter.
Cicero, whom I affectionately call "Thumper" certainly did some thumping last night. She finished her opponent off when the ref stopped the contest in the third round. Thumpers relentless attack sliced through her opponents defense and destroyed any attempts at an offense.
Trisha was originally a student of Master Feidt at our Clay Dojo and moved down to South Florida a couple years ago. She is in awesome shape and is a great model of excellence for her students.
Congratulations to USABBC Competition Team at Warriors Collide 3.
There are only two weeks of classes remaining.
I hope you are ready to give your best finishing kick for the year.
Train Hard...Work Hard...Enjoy the Rewards of your Success!
Osu,
Kyoshi
