See It – Believe It – Achieve It!
Greetings Team, I hope January was a Kick Butt month for you...
Many team mates have already sent me a month end progress report with some very impressive results. We like it...we love it...we want more of it!
I love reading about peoples progress, growth and change.
It reminds me a little like kids and their report cards, most of the kids with straight A's always bring their report cards in right away. A few bring them in within a week or so.
The kids with bad grades usually have excuses on why they can't bring them in.
Ex: My dog ate it, or, my parents have it, I lost it,etc...
So which one are you?
Did you score straight A's for January or did your dog eat your report card?
We are all at a crucial point of creating inertia for our year. I'm sure you would agree that you now have some great momentum built and should be able to really capitalize on it on February and March.
This weeks classroom message is see it...believe it...achieve it!
Here's a quick review...
See It – Believe It – Achieve It!
2008 is in full gear, and you've set your sights on making this your best year ever.
Drafting your Wish List was an exercise of something called VISUALIZATION.
It's when you create a mental picture, or a vision of your dreams and desires.
See It – Means you first create it in your mind. Close your eyes and see yourself as a well conditioned and highly skilled Black Belt Champion, in the best shape of your life. By doing this, you are visualizing your success and achievement in advance. It's a powerful exercise that is practiced by most great achievers in sports, business and the Martial Arts.
Believe It – Means you truly believe without doubt that you are worthy of success. You must have total belief in yourself and your ability to attain your most important goals. You must believe in your Sensei and anyone else you would consider a mentor. Belief is such a powerful tool for improving anything in your life. It will boost your confidence to take the necessary actions for high levels of success and achievement.
Achieve It – Means you will stick to it until you do it. See things through until completion. Becoming a well respected Black Belt Champion is all about being an "A+" rated version of your best self. Set your sights on your goals and you will make this your best year ever. By practicing these valuable exercises and life skills, you will sharpen and condition your mind – body and spirit!
"If your mind can conceive it and you truly believe it – you will achieve it!"
When it comes to high levels of achievement, I have noticed in most cases, there are no unrealistic goals, just unrealistic time frames. As a Martial Arts teacher, I believe that all of my students have the potential to become a Black Belt Champion.
Some have a more natural athletic ability, some have more heart and drive.
Others are going to need a major transformation of habits, attitude and/or lifestyle.
It's never an unrealistic goal, but some have unrealistic time frames.
How about you? Have you set some big goals for yourself this year?
Are your time frames realistic?
On a scale of 1-10...how eager and excited are you to make this your best year ever?
To achieve your best, you must be willing to give your best...are you?
I hope you are and I hope to be able to help you.
Train Hard...Work Hard...Enjoy the Rewards of your Success!
Osu,
Kyoshi
