The Bo is one of the foremost traditional arms in Okinawa's arsenal of weapons. The Bo, a six-foot wooden staff, is probably "the oldest weapon known to man other than a flung rock." This DVD introduces many advanced Bo Fighting Techniques. It explains the Shushi no Kon Sho & Dai Kata, the Choun no Kon kata & Tokumine no Kon kata. These data show many unique fighting tactics including body shifting, countering, disarming, throwing, fighting two opponent's simultaneously and many other application. Also included are Three Advanced Tow-Man Bo Fighting Kata. Plus a bonus! You will learn how to train on the Makiwara with the Bo. This training method is rarely seen outside of Okinawa! you will witness the awesome breaking power of the Bo!
