Okinawan Shorin Ryu Kobudo training begins with the Bo staff. This volume is the first of three volumes teaching Bo staff techniques. Other Kobudo videos in this series are the Sai, Kama, Tonfa and Nunchaku. These five basic Kobudo weapons are taught under the Black Belt level at Keen's Martial Arts Academy. After Black Belt, advanced techniques with these weapons are taught along with weapons such as the Tekko, Oar, Nunti-Bo, Rochin & Tinbe and the Nitan Bo.
