He was the second President of "Ryu Kyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai" until his passing. Like his teacher Taira he was also interested in preserving the ancient art of Kobudo for future generations. In this DVD, which was shot in the 1960's by Mr. Taiju Lee you will see Akamine Sensei performing many of these katas he learnt from Taira Sensei directly.
