Customer Service, Compassionate, Caring
I have been buying my martial arts gear exclusively from AWMA since 2005 their customer service is second to none. The staff at AWMA have been more than cordial when I had questions about an item. I've always received courtesy, respect and a quick response.
Prior to 2005 I was ordering from different martial arts company's and sometimes had to contact them over and over to see why my order was taking so long. I know exactly how long my order will take with AWMA. Once I place an order with AWMA I receive confirmation that my order was received, next I receive an email telling me that my order has been packed and ready to ship, the next step is confirmation that the order was shipped and finally the order arrives within 3-5 days regular shipping. I find it remarkable on how well oiled the AWMA machine is.
My school is a medium sized school and is considered a ministry of St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island in Georgia. I have been volunteering my instruction to the community for the past 10 years, which means my club gets their financial help from donations and fund raisers, I am not paid to teach martial arts and AWMA is aware of this which leads me to my next part of the topic.
A few years back one of my students was involved in a very serious car accident, which unfortunately killed the driver. My student sustained severe head damage and the prognosis was not good for him.
I told Steve at AWMA about what happened and he stepped up to the plate by saying "what do you need from me?" Well I was kind of shocked and I told him that I didn't know. He recommended that I do a fund raiser and he would send me some equipment to sell. About 5 days later I received a very large shipment of over $1,000 worth of martial arts gear that I auctioned off. We made around $1,600 from the auction and gave a check to the family to help pay for their food and room near the hospital.
One year we were short money for an additional 5 competition uniforms, and we're getting ready to go to the International Sports Karate Association, U.s. Open in Orlando, Florida. I was talking with Steve and told him to look out for us in Orlando and I would be stopping by to see him. He asked me if there was anything I needed and I jokingly said how about some competition uniforms? He said how many do you need and what sizes, I said your kidding? About a week later five brand new uniforms showed up at my door no cost to me.
Alright if there is anyone out there that knows of another MA company that can match what AWMA has to offer as it pertains to compassion and caring I would sure like to know who they are because on the most part I don't know of any.
Like I said up top, Customer Service, Compassion, Caring more than just a business, more like a family.

Long time - No hear, I hope everything is going well with you and your family?
I wanted to give you some feedback on the Triple Target Team Training System and the Explosive Pad Drills.
I had a teachers training day this past Saturday and started with the DVD, WOW! Great DVD all of my instructors loved it, I ordered two more for them.
The Triple Target Team Training System was great to, all of my instructors tried it out and we all noticed that their kicking technique and targeting ability improved considerably in only an hour. Of course they were all teachers (brown and black belts) and already had developed 'some' of their technique and targeting but the fact is they improved.
They were all confident that they would be able to improve the lower belts and their targeting. Good Job! One of my students ordered a Triple Target Team Training System for themselves. Good sales person huh? In reality the DVD and the Triple Target Team Training System actually sold themselves I just introduced them.
As usual thanks for producing and/or marketing such fine training gear.

I have been familiar with your store since you opened in the Philadelphia area and I was training in Moo Duk Kwan under Lee Jong Sae and Yong C Hong.
