Adding an Email Address to Your Address Book or Safe Senders List

To ensure receipt of our email messages and that they are not filtered as junk mail or spam, be sure to add our mailing address to your address book or "safe senders" list in your email program.

Instructions for the most popular email and Anti-Spam programs:

Outlook Express Users (version 6 or higher):

  1. From the Tools menu, select Address Book.
  2. Click New and select New Contact from the drop-down menu that appears.
  3. Enter the e-mail address of which you always wish to accept messages from.
  4. Click OK.

Microsoft Outlook Users:

  1. On the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. In the Options dialog box, click on the Junk E-mail button.
  3. Click on the Safe Sender tab at the top of the screen.
  4. In the "Add address or domain" window that appears, type the address or internet domain (the internet domain is the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign) of which you always want to accept messages from.
  5. Once you have entered the e-mail address of Internet domain name to be added to the safe senders list, click on the OK button.

MSN Hotmail Users:

  1. Click Options.
  2. On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection.
  3. Click Safe List.
  4. Type an address or Internet Domain (an Internet Domain is the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign) for which you always want to accept messages from.
  5. Click Add.

MSN Users:

  1. Click Help & Settings.
  2. Click Email Settings.
  3. Click on Safe List.
  4. In Add an item to this list, enter the email address.
  5. Click Add.

Windows Live Mail Users:

  1. Click Options.
  2. On the left side of the page, click Mail and junk e-mail, and then click Allowed and blocked senders.
  3. Click Allowed senders.
  4. Type an address or internet domain (the internet domain is the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign) of which you always want to accept messages from.
  5. Click Add to List.

Yahoo! Mail Users:

  1. Click the "addresses" button.
  2. Select "Add Contact".
  3. Save the applicable email address to your contacts list.

Gmail Users:

  1. Click Contacts along the left side of any Gmail page.
  2. Click Create Contact.
  3. Enter your contact's information in the appropriate fields.
  4. Click Save to add your contact.

AOL Users (version 9.0 or higher)

  1. Click the Mail menu and select Address Book.
  2. In the pop up box, click the Add button.
  3. In the "Other E-Mail" field, type our email address.
  4. Make the From address the "Primary E-Mail" address by checking the related check box.
  5. Click the Save button.

Norton AntiSpam Users:

  1. Start up Norton AntiSpam.
  2. Click the Status & Settings tab.
  3. Click AntiSpam.
  4. Click Configure.
  5. Click Allowed List tab.
  6. Click Add button.
  7. Enter the allowed email address in the 'Email Address' box.
  8. Click OK.

McAfee Spamkiller Users:

  1. Click the Friends tab.
  2. Click Email Address tab.
  3. Click the Down Arrow to view your Personal Friends List.
  4. Along the Right Side choose Add A Friend.
  5. In the Address box, enter the allowed email address.
  6. Click Save.
