It contains a fascinating collection of film of O-Sensei performing the techniques of aikido in the masterful style he was famous for. It shows shots of O-Sensei performing in demonstrations, excerpts from a Japanese Television documentary, shots of O-Sensei teaching and much more!
One can also see many of today's modern leaders of aikido including Kisshomaru Ueshiba, Koichi Tohei, Morihiro Saito, Mitsugi Saotome, Shoji Nishio and others. This video shows O-Sensei Ueshiba's electric use of ki (energy) and extraordinary balance. His perfect circular movements and execution of techniques bring his opponents into his dynamic sphere where they are tossed about effortlessly. O-Sensei Ueshiba is masterful in his execution of techniques. He blends with the force of his attackers in order to use the attacker's own force against him.
