This DVD features Shinpo Matayoshi (192301977) and his family style of Okinawa weapons. This tradition was passed on by his famous father Shinko Matayoshi (1888-1947). Noted for its Chinese influence, the Matayoshi Kobudo system includes the Bo, Sai, Tonfa, Kama, Nunchaku, Eku (Boat Oar), Tinbe (Shield & Knife) and Nunti Bo. On this unique DVD you will see many of these weapons along with dynamic sparring drills. Plus a Bonus! Shinpo Matayoshi demonstrates the much sought after Hakutsuru or White Crane Kata.
