A traditional component of a martial artist’s uniform, Jiu-Jitsu belts are worn around the waist to display the wearer’s rank and accomplishments. Like other martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uses a color-based ranking system. While black is the most common high-ranking belt, a red belt is awarded to those who demonstrate the pinnacle of mastery. Additional colors include blue, green, orange, purple and more. Each belt also includes individual stripes or degrees that must be attained before the next one can be awarded.
Our ProForce® Jiu-Jitsu belts are made from materials such as cotton, cotton/polyester blends and nylon. Available in multiple sizes in a double-wrap style, you can also add patches, pins and other accessories to signify additional achievements.
